In this bundle, you shall learn about the blood, blood grouping, composition & more
MODULE 1: Hematology5 video lessons (01hr 20m 59s )
PLATELETS
+
In this eLearning module you will learn about Platelets. Platelets are tiny, irregular, disc-shaped element in the blood that assists in blood clotting. They are pieces of very large cells in the bone marrow called megakaryocytes. The platelets are also called thrombocytes.
LEUCOCYTES 1
+
In this eLearning module we will learn about Leucocytes. Leukocyte are also called white blood cells or white corpuscle. They are the cellular component of the blood that lacks hemoglobin. The different type of leukocyte are granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, and basophils), monocytes, and lymphocytes (T cells and B cells). Like red blood cells, the leukocytes or white blood cells originate from a hematopoietic stem cell.
ERYTHROCYTES 2 - ANEMIA & POLYCYTHEMIA
+
In this eLearning module we will learn about Diseases Erythrocytes. Erythrocytes or RBCs are concave, disc-shaped cells that move through blood vessels, carrying oxygen throughout the body. RBCs every second, and they are the reason for the distinctive red color of blood. There are many different type of RBC disorders includind the condition that effect the production, components and abilities of RBCs. The symptoms for each condition may vary depending on the disorder and certain conditions share similar symptoms.
BLOOD COMPOSITION & FUNCTION
+
In this eLearning module you will learn about Blood composition & function. Blood is a combination of plasma and cells that circulate through the body. It supplies essential substances, such as sugars, oxygen, and hormones, to cells and organs, and removes waste from cells. Blood has four main components, Plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. The different functions of blood includes transporting oxygen and nutrients to the lungs and tissues.
BLOOD GROUPS
+
In this eLearning module, you will learn about Blood Groups. There are 4 main blood groups (types of blood) – A, B, AB and O.
