General Instructions

• Beta Brain applicants will have to appear for the quiz online.
• Among the total number of applicants, prizes will be awarded to 3 meritorious students, on the basis of their performance in the online scholarship quiz.
• The total number of questions asked in the quizination is 60. The total allotted time is 30 minutes.
• The questions will be from the following subjects:-
  • Anatomy
  • Physiology
  • Biochemistry
• The questions will be of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and/or Fill in the Blanks pattern.
• The candidate shall make sure that the device (mobile/tab/laptop/desktop) is ready with proper internet connectivity for appearing for the online quiz.
• It is advised that the candidate be seated in front of their device and ready at least 15 minutes before the quiz commences.
• The quiz will appear on the candidate’s dashboard at the stipulated time of the actual quiz.
• Each student will get questions and answers in different order, selected randomly from a Question Databank.
• Make sure to close all active programs & other tabs on your device, including emails, messengers, etc.
• The candidate shall NOT use his or her textbook, course notes, or receive help from a proctor or any other outside source(s). The candidate shall also NOT seek help from internet sources as well.

Procedure for taking the quiz

Following are the steps for taking the quiz:

• To attend the Scholarship quiz, visit the website (https://medetuit.com).
• A verification link shall be sent to your email ID to activate your account. Verify the email by clicking on the verification link sent to the email.
• You will be automatically redirected to the dashboard.
• Click on the “Beta Brain” quiz to enter.
• All questions are compulsory. To answer a question, select the desired option and then click NEXT to move to the next question.
• Upon a wrong answer, one negative mark will be deducted
• Keep an eye on the TIMER CLOCK on the right side of the online quiz page to keep a track of the time left.
• Do not click the ‘BACK’ button of the browser during the quiz.
• Do not close the browser during the test before your quiz is complete.
• After the completion of the quiz, click “Finish” to submit the quiz.
• Once submitted, a message shall be displayed “Your quiz has been submitted successfully” and then the candidate shall logout from the portal.
• Ensure that while you are attending the quiz, no other tab/window/link is opened simultaneously on your system and also, the internet connectivity should be smooth.
• After the submission of the quiz, you will not be permitted to view the questions or attend the quiz again.

Browser Requirements: This quiz is best supported by the below listed browsers/versions only.

Google Chrome (version 5.0 and above, the latest version is preferred)

Mozilla Firefox (version 40.0 and above, the latest version is preferred)

In case you're taking the quiz on Windows 8, make sure you disable all the popups/ notifications.

General T&C

• By applying for the quiz, the candidate agrees to abide by all rules and regulations of Beta Brain. Decision of the committee will be final.
• The participant needs to be present for the quiz on time. The quiz would be administered in English language.
• The decisions of the expert committee to select winners based on quiz scores shall remain final.
• If a candidate does not attend the quiz due to illness / network failure or other reasons then the committee will not reschedule their quizination to another date.
• If at any time, any information provided by any applicant is found to be incorrect in any manner, then the applicant shall be disqualified from the quiz.
• If after the conclusion of the quiz, any information provided by any applicant is found to be incorrect in any manner, then the applicant will be liable to return any award/ prize money given to the participant under this quiz.
• In case of any disputes, the decision of the committee will be final and binding. The final selection of the candidates is at the sole and absolute discretion of the Committee. The information sought from the interested candidates shall be held in confidence by the committee, and shall be subject to the privacy policy of Beta Brain.
• The committee reserves the right to alter the terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice.
• Your right to use the Site is not transferable. Any password or right given to you to obtain information or documents is not transferable.
• The information and services may contain bugs, errors, problems or other limitations. We and our affiliated parties have no liability whatsoever for your use of any information or service.
• We reserve the right, and you authorize us, to the use and assignment of all information regarding Site used by you and all information provided by you in any manner consistent with our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy, as it may change from time to time, is a part of this Agreement.
